Genetic algorithms

I love genetic algorithms because they generate novel solutions to difficult problems and require no training data. My main goal is to create a universal GA, and I've made lots of progress on it. Sort of like "artificial general evolution."

People like to focus on "biologically plausible" alternatives to backpropagation, but we should be looking for "digitally plausible, biologically inspired" algorithms.

An online vision test that uses face tracking to improve accuracy above other online tests. I'm building it because:

I got the domain "eyephone.app" (how awesome is that)
To prove to my friend that I can (she said I probably couldn't)
I've been putting off getting glasses for too long

About the Lab

LoseyLabs exists to see how far certain projects can go without seeking funding or doing any of the things people keep telling me to do.

And because it's easier to create the future you want to live in than passively predict it.
